Dr. Gilma A. Bodley, a University of the West Indies graduate, has worked in pediatrics at Princess Margaret Hospital in the Bahamas and at an urgent care center in Ontario, Canada. She now serves as a House Officer at Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital in the BVI. A Rotarian with the Rotary Club of Road Town and a 1999 BVI High School National Science Fair co-winner, she is proud to return as a judge to support young scientists.

Mr. Darryl Flanders is the Safety Manager at the BVI Airports Authority, certified in Airport Operations, Safety Management Systems, and Occupational Safety and Health. He holds a Master of Science in Aeronautics and has over 10 years of teaching experience at both secondary and collegiate levels, instructing in English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Tourism, and VI History.

Isha Hodge is a regulatory compliance and policy professional with experience in scientific research, intellectual property, and environmental policy. She holds a Master of Science in Environmental Policy from Kaplan University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of the Virgin Islands. Isha has contributed to several research projects focused on environmental management and biodiversity in the Virgin Islands and remains actively involved in professional and community organizations. She is passionate about science, policy development, and supporting youth engagement in STEM.

She is passionate about helping people connect the science behind threats like storms, earthquakes, and tsunamis to their everyday lives.

With over 15 years of experience in the construction industry, I have managed several key projects, including seven renewable energy installations, the relocation and demolition of the Elmore Stoutt High School CTL site, and the procurement of furnishings for the Jost Van Dyke Multifunctional Educational Facility while serving at RDA.

Antonia Matthew is a registered dietitian nutritionist in the British Virgin Islands who provides expert nutrition advice and counselling for people of all ages. A former educator in both public and private schools, she has a strong interest in improving children’s health in the Virgin Islands. She currently serves as a community dietitian across clinics on the four main islands and is an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Science at HLSCC.
